It must be big, and I am not able to imagine the final form in advance and build it one on one. That was the mission with which I started my graduation project named Constructie. I became inspired by musical and visual interplay between people, mechanisms and lifting equipment.
I found a certain beauty in the process of imagining, building and demolishing something and thus seeing this object, the environment and people change. This beauty manifested itself in a project that seems to be constantly under construction and gradually takes shape, loses shape, and then retakes shape. It is moving in the presence of man and can be heard when it is activated and played. It is my musical playground.
The video below is the installation in one of his earlier phases. You can read the whole documented process of this project on my graduation blog.
